So you have decided to embark on the journey to become an end of life doula! Congratulations! There are definitely a number of courses available to help you gain the skills and education you need, though one stands out for Canadians and that is the one hosted through Douglas College.

One of the most challenging aspects of becoming a death doula is to start your own self-employed business. This can feel daunting if you have never done so, but Death Doulas of Manitoba will be helping you to gain the knowledge and confidence to begin your own business! We will soon have classes available that will give you all of the tools and information you need to begin offering your services to our community.
While you are gaining experience, you might want to also consider taking the
Compassionate Care Course offered through Palliative Manitoba.
Becoming a volunteer to help support our province will help you as an emerging doula!
